ECO CIS is specialized in solving environmental issues, within the range of activities covered by Category 8 of the National Register of Environmental Managers “Albo Nazionale Gestori Ambientali”, authorized to the brokerage of up to 200,000 tons / year, the Company has been founded by the initiative of a group of professionals with many years of experience in the field.
ECO CIS is part of the group of companies headed by C.I.S. S.p.A., an international shipping company founded in 1980. It has developed a full range of services to cover all their customers’ needs through specialised subsidiaries in various freight transport branches, from initial consultancy to agreements, customs assistance, shipping agency services, transport by road or by ship, to the loading/unloading of bulk and break bulk cargo and insurance of the goods.

Industrial waste management
ECO CIS is able to handle the delivery and disposal of special hazardous waste as well as normal one, both in Italy and abroad by selecting the most suited and convenient facilities and plants on the territory favoring their recovery as a resource.
Logistics
ECO CIS can arrange the transport of the waste, even in multimodal means, so that it can reach the proper destinations in the most effective way.
Shipping by sea
ECO CIS is also able to settle transport of your products ‘by sea’, taking care of the sampling of the goods, the port phase of the transport (loading and discharging, both at docks and on ship), the chartering of ships suitable for the transport of the specific class and type of waste, thanks to CIS expertise as shipping and forwarding agents.
Environmental consulting
ECO CIS is able to support companies in compiling documents required for transport of national or cross-border transport of waste, by road or by sea; moreover, thanks to the continuous training process of its technicians, it is able to answer any question related to waste regulations.
Environmental circularity
The primary objective of ECOCIS is the construction of an economy sustainable, efficient and effective, supporting, in symbiosis with specialized laboratories, companies in planning implementation of supply systems and valorisation of otherwise unused resources.

Our Offices Registered office
Our company is based in Livorno, Via delle Cateratte 66, in an easy to reach position, both by train – the Central Train Station is located at about 10 min – and by car through the A12 motorway or the FI-PI-LI highway (“Livorno Centro” Exit).
ECO CIS have a privileged point for ship loading at the port of Livorno, in a quay dedicated to the loading/unloading bulk goods. The quay is equipped with all appropriate equipment for goods handling; futhermore, through an exclusive bilateral agreement, ECO CIS can offer the same service at the port of Piombino.
